Assembly force, torque and the next test method belong together

Connector Assembly Device RFQs should identify the reference connector, tested sample, force and torque requirement, and the ISO 80369-20 method that follows the assembly step.

Assembly device, not a leakage tester

This product is the setup device for applying assembly force and torque. It should be linked from ISO 80369-20 equipment pages as an assembly/fixture role, not as the pressure, liquid, vacuum or axial-load measurement instrument itself.

KingPo documented assembly role

KingPo supplied documentation states that the device is used to apply the required force and torque simultaneously when connecting a reference connector with a test sample.

Operation outline

The operator inserts the hex-end of the reference connector into the device, holds the test sample or rotating collar, then pushes and turns so the device applies the required axial force and torque during assembly.

Packing list and service notes

KingPo supplied documentation lists one connector assembly device, one axial force-weight, six torque-weights, operation instruction, warranty card and packing list. It also records lubrication as the handling method if axial movement is not smooth.

Additional setup and documentation notes

Unscrewing and overriding support

KingPo supplied documentation describes torque-weight selection for resistance to separation from unscrewing and resistance to overriding workflows. Final sample judgment wording remains tied to the applicable standard and order scope.

RFQ context

Quote requests should include product, Figure, standard part, connector side, mating counterpart, test method, fixture need, quantity, calibration requirement and certificate expectation.

FAQ

Is this an electrically powered tester?

KingPo supplied documentation describes the connector assembly device as compact and manually operated, with no electrical supply or compressed air requirement.

Which equipment pages should be quoted with it?

For leakage measurement, pair the setup discussion with the Annex B/C or Annex D tester. For axial-load separation, pair it with the Annex F axial-load tester when the sample setup requires force-controlled assembly context.
