Medical device / DUT
Identify the actual device, connector function and application.
Start from the medical device or connector application, then identify the relevant connector family, applicable standard, reference interface, test method and equipment required for verification. This path is designed for buyers who know their DUT but do not yet know the correct KingPo product, gauge, fixture or complete test configuration.

Choose the application that best matches the DUT. Each page explains typical devices, connector boundaries, engineering questions and the route to a test setup.
The matrix narrows the initial route without claiming that a device name alone determines the standard or test requirement.
| Medical device / application | Connector context | Standard family | Typical verification path |
|---|---|---|---|
| Syringe | Luer connection when applicable | ISO 80369-7 | Confirm male/female, slip/lock, reference interface and required method |
| Infusion set | Intravascular connector | ISO 80369-7 or project-specific | Depends on connector configuration; confirm applicable standard |
| IV catheter accessory | Luer or other defined interface | Depends on connector design | Project-specific review of DUT side, mating item and method |
| Enteral syringe | Enteral small-bore connector | ISO 80369-3 | Confirm enteral mating interface; do not apply Luer assumptions |
| Feeding tube | Enteral connector and tube assembly | ISO 80369-3 where applicable | Confirm connector side, fixture support and functional method |
| Respiratory system connector | Small-bore R1/R2 or cone/socket | ISO 80369-2 or ISO 5356-1 | Identify the interface family before choosing reference products |
| Neural connector | Neural small-bore interface | ISO 80369-6:2025 | Confirm edition, DUT side, reference interface and verification |
| Limb cuff connector | Cuff inflation interface | IEC 80369-5 | Confirm cuff/tubing side and pressure-related connector setup |
| Reservoir connector | Reservoir delivery interface | ISO 18250 family | Confirm applicable part, connector configuration and method |
Each decision reduces ambiguity before a reference product, fixture or instrument is selected.
Identify the actual device, connector function and application.
Distinguish Luer, enteral, respiratory, neural, cuff and reservoir systems.
Confirm the standard family and edition instead of assuming from the device name.
Record male, female or another defined interface presented by the sample.
Choose the controlled mating interface or dimensional gauge.
Define leakage, separation, torque, dimensional or other specified behavior.
Support the sample and connection in the required orientation.
Match pressure, force, torque or dimensional channels to the method.
Agree the report, calibration and traceability scope before quotation.
Many buyers do not initially know which reference connector, gauge or fixture they need. KingPo can work from the device and connection evidence instead of requiring a preselected product number.
Respiratory devices require special care because ISO 80369-2 small-bore connectors and ISO 5356-1 cones and sockets are distinct interface systems.
Send the device name, connector application, DUT side, known standard information, drawing or sample photo, required test, calibration need and quantity. KingPo will review the configuration before product selection.
